Heartware Programme (HWP) is a specially tailored programme which we provide to schools and educational institutions with the following aims -

  • To help young people excel in every facet of their lives, may it be in academic performance, sports and/or community work
  • To challenge them to take on leadership roles, champion social causes and be socially enterprising
  • To stimulate critical thinking by deriving long-term solutions to real-life community problems
  • To develop essential life skills and entrepreneurial instinct
  • To build physical resilience through sports and recreation

Youths are also put through at least 80 hours of programme in a year through hands-on engagement aimed at equipping them for real life.

The following are various projects and activities under the HWP.

>> McDonald's Youth Inspiration Series

>> Community Safety and Security Programme (CSSP) Challenge

ImageMy view of volunteering will be more on giving out your precious time and sometimes to the extent of using your money to help out the unfortunate ones or the normal ones. And I also see it as doing out from the individual hearts, not so much expecting any returns if there isn't any rewards.
