Apart from the main Heartware Programme, there are other ad-hoc community projects that we undertake each year.

>> Chingay Parade of Dreams

At the Chingay Parade of Dreams, thousands of our youth volunteers from the various Universities, Junior Colleges and Polytechnics are trained to serve as motivators, ushers and crowd controllers.

>> National Day Parade

As part of the nation's birthday celebration, the past few NDP saw thousands of volunteers serving as motivators and ushers at the parade. Chairman of Heartware Network, Mr. Raymond Huang was also invited as the trainer for the PROs for the past 2 years.

Image Participating in Chingay 2009 gave me the opportunity to work with fellow volunteers whose hard work, effort and dedication to this event were remarkable.  This experience taught me the importance of compromising with people that I am unfamiliar with.  This is beneficial to me as there are different kinds of people with different personalities in this society whom I have to work with.  I also learnt to be more gracious and be more approachable to people I meet.
