What’s Connect Singapore?

Organising tens of thousands of youths, together with the President of Singapore, holding hands to form an unbroken human chain in the heart of Singapore and reciting the National Pledge symbolizing “one united people”

Objectives

• Actively engage and inspire our youths

• Inculcate servant-leadership qualities
• Emphasise that every person matters
• Stronger citizenship engagement
• Promote borderless citizenship & volunteerism (Youth Bank)
• Promote National Education 
• Raise $430,000 for President’s Challenge 2008 (70%) and Heartware Network (30%)

• The biggest mass participation event in Singapore ever

Each youth will be given a specially designed pledge card to raise at least $10 each.
